Apex Paddle Erg Cup

Sunday, March 23, 2025

Celebrating our fifth year of competition, the Apex Paddle Erg Cup, brings together athletes from all over the GTHA, and out of province visitors from Montreal to Boston. 2025 marks the fifth anniversary of Apex, with over $2000 in sponsorships, 100 + athletes, and many dedicated supporters on our livestream.  This competition features the paddle ergometer (aka p'erg), a machine that high level paddlers use for off-season training. Athletes compete both individually and in teams, coming together to celebrate the final few weeks of indoor training before heading onto the lake.

Composed of both individual and team competitions Apex has established itself as a high caliber event, giving paddlers a taste of the water season ahead.

Apex sponsors help make our event possible. Whether it's through incredible raffle prizes (a carbon fiber Burnwater Paddle?? Hellooo!), florescent swag (shoutout to Oddball for the hats!), or beautifully engraved miniature paddles (seriously so CUTE), our sponsors shape the experience for our athletes. Thank you for supporting our competitive dragon boat community!
